According to this guy, we need to change our diet because the foods we eat weren’t intended for us. The diet he suggests goes opposite to what we have been told in recent years but it makes sense at face value. I’m not a dietician, nor am I a doctor; I don’t believe one needs to be one to understand what this guy is saying. I’ve had my share of weight gain and weight loss.
We are sick (as a society), really. We have the higest obesity rates in the world, we have kids that are sick with diabetes and other diet-related diseases and more so than other countries. Dr. John McDougall has something to say about this.
This is a good talk about nutrition and change that we need in the US and other countries and cultures that are following what he calls the diet of kings and queens. Eye opening and enlightening. I highly recommend you check it out.
