As you know, we love Pretend City. I haven’t even had a chance to tell you that we’re the one and only to be named Pretend City Ambassador. It doesn’t mean I have any special privileges or anything.
It just means that you’ll hear a lot about Pretend City in the blog. We go there probably once each week and Claire loves it. You will see some of their events listed in the event calendar too.
But back to Halloween costumes.
In case you didn’t know, Pretend City has a full store. And if you’re a member of the museum, you get 10% off.
While we were there the other day, we found that they have some costumes that are ideal for the upcoming Halloween celebrations. No coincidence of course.
I like that the costumes are very family friendly and they’re all in line with Pretend City. Check it out as Helen showcases each one for you.
Visit Pretend City to buy your costume. And if you are not able to make a trip over there then here are links for each of the costumes.
If you notice in the video, Helen points out that the costumes are made by Melissa & Doug. That is one of our favorite brands.
They make a lot of really cool toys that focus on dexterity, learning, imagination and creativity. They’re modern toys with an old fashion feel.
Well I did a few searches and found that there are tons of other costumes besides those four. You should see a little slideshow happening and you’ll see the other costumes.
Some of them include: Fire Chief, Police Officer, and even Pirate.
The Pirate costume one you could get even now and use it during talk like a Pirate day. Instead of just talking like a Pirate, you can dress up your kid like a pirate too!
