Here’s a list of all the resources that are used to run Papidaddy.com I put this together because I want to highlight the great people that put together terrific software for people like you and I to use.
I put links directly to each company or service so you can go check them out and consider giving them your business.
If they’re listed here, they are worthy of your dollars or your mindshare.
Papidaddy.com runs on the free and open source software called WordPress and it uses the self-hosted version.
Hosting & Webdesign
Papidaddy is hosted with Siteground and they are awesome. I would highly recommend you check them out as not only they host my site, but they are also a sponsor of Papi Daddy so you’ll be helping yourself by getting a great website with awesome customer service and you’ll be helping me as well.
You can read the first blogpost I write about Siteground here.
The site was built by me with the same principles as the free websites I build for my customers. If you want a free website, just order one right here.
Papi Daddy currently runs the Genesis Framework using the Metro Pro Child Theme I highly recommend both of these, you can get them right here from Studiopress.
Email marketing is done by Aweber. The leading email marketing system. I use them for all my projects so it was natural that I use them here as well. The great thing about them is that you can start for only $1.00 and then after that prices start between $16 and $19 per month.
Optinmonster Suite. A powerful suite of plugins that allow me to capture visitors’ attention under very specific circumstances and invite them to join my mailing list. Its sole purpose is to increase readership and newsletter subscriptions. I’ve written a couple posts about it. Here’s a post about the exit intent feature in Optinmonster. This other post is an interview with the creator of Optinmonster.
I highly recommend this but only if you can get the Pro or better level. The strongest feature of optinmonster is the exit intent, and without it you might as well not get it.
