PTA Meeting & Principal’s Report for Thorman and Currie

The first PTA meeting took place on September 5, 2019. The attendance was good, but I think more parents should attend. I understand many parents can't make it due to schedule constraints.

If it's a matter of not having anybody to watch your kids while you attend the meeting, you should know every PTA meeting I've been to offers babysitting and food. So if you can, get involved.

Just being present is good enough to be aware of what's going on, what has happened and what's coming up, ask questions, and get to know the other parents and staff. If you can help out by volunteering, that's even better.
