A couple of weeks before Christmas, my daughter asked me what I wanted for Christmas. If you don't know, when a 10-year-old asks you what you want for Christmas, you have to make it easy for them to tell the other parent so they can go buy it.
I thought about the answer for a little while, and then I told her I wanted a Raspberry Pi for Christmas. She looked at me, puzzled, but she said “ok!” and walked away.
She and mom went to the store later and did their shopping. Fast forward to Christmas morning, and my daughter was really excited to give me my gift. Because it was “exactly what I asked for,” she said, but then she said “not really.”
Then I opened my gift, which she got out of the fridge. This is the gift I got:

She's so cute and adorable; she said “They didn't have raspberry pie.” She told me that when she asked the baker they looked at her weirdly and said, you can't make raspberry pie because they are so fragile, but we have raspberry cheesecake.
So my daughter said, that'll do.
That's how I ended up with two delicious raspberry cheesecakes instead of a Raspberry pi, delicious, creamy and thoughtful.
