We went on a trip to Bishop, California for a much-needed and deserved family vacation. You might have seen my recent coffee in Bishop video. But let's go back to the beginning, this time.
As we were planning the trip, I had the brilliant idea of leaving late in the afternoon or early evening. This way, I thought, we would avoid traffic and have a nice quiet time to enjoy the 4.5-hour drive.
That didn't turn out as expected, we had tennis lessons earlier that day, and a number of other things in addition to chores, last-minute store trips, and a couple of other things to be done. The scheduled departure time of 7:30 pm came and went in the blink of an eye.
Finally, around 11:45 pm we were wrapping things up and getting in the car to begin our trip. This video is about how that evening went.
But now we know… 3 to 4 hours needed to load up a week's worth of groceries, and stuff for a trip to Bishop. Or maybe we just need to bring less stuff. We'll see how next time goes.
I have so many videos and pictures to post and will be posted as fast as I can get to them. I mean, look at this photo! It almost looks like it's fake like it's set on a green screen. To say that the views and landscapes in Bishop are majestic would be an understatement.
